The Eternal Dryad envisions a female spirit merging with an embracing tree, illuminated within the magnificent forest of a brain’s neural network—a symbol of hope and renewal, much like a chrysalis nurturing a butterfly’s transformation. After witnessing the devastating effects of ALS—how it steadily disrupts healthy neurons and weakens the body, limb by limb, organ by organ—my conviction has only grown stronger: though disease may claim the body, it cannot touch the soul. Through nature, our origin, we discover the promise of eternal life.
