Case No. 3
Heidi Rufeh
Encaustic, oil & collage on panel
Inspired by photo #3
12 x 12 x 1.5 inches
The exhibition's title "Hope Lives" spoke to me because it is positive, and I wanted my image that related to the research rendering No. 3 to be positive as well. My paintings portray a tree with a multiplicity of little branches simulating the brain's neural network sending messages to every part of the body.
