About the event
The San Francisco Women Artists Gallery welcomes all visitors to the Opening Reception of Petals and Wings, an exhibition that explores the resilience and beauty of the natural world and comments on our relationship with nature.
Come discover the beautiful artwork of the 4th annual Hope Lives: Art for ALS exhibition on display in the Artists Salon. The theme: Research Renderings includes a large curated collection of artwork that was inspired by ALS research photographs on a molecular level. There will be live music, a festive atmosphere and light refreshments. ALS is an acronym for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a disease that atrophies a person's muscles, while their brain function remains untouched. ALS steals a person's ability to walk, talk, eat and breathe. There is no cure for ALS. Hope Lives: Art for ALS was launched by Melissa Stephens in 2021
